Teresa Kendall 3rd Dan - Chief Instructor

Teresa began her Martial Arts journey in 1985, when she started studying the art of Korean Karate.  She lived in Merseyside for 3 years where she dedicated much of her time to learning the arts of Kickboxing, Thai Boxing, and Tai Chi.  It was at this time that she achieved her first Black Belt, in Magendo Kickboxing.

Since moving back to Lincolnshire in 1997, Teresa has gained 2nd and 3rd Degree Black Belts with the National Association of Kickboxing.

Teresa is also a qualified Personal Trainer, Gym Instructor, Tai Chi and Yoga Instructor and a Reiki Practitioner.

She has an unstoppable fight record in both Karate and Kickboxing, which includes the following honours:

  • 1993 - EKKA National Champion
  • 1996 - NAK National Champion
  • 1997 - NAK National Champion
  • 1999 - Powerkick Grand Prix Champion
  • 1999 - EKKA South Eastern Champion
  • 2000 - Powerkick Grand Prix Champion
  • 2000 - EKKA National Champion
  • 2001 - Powerkick Grand Prix Champion
  • 2001 - NAK National Champion
  • 2001 - EKKA National Champion

Teresa is currently working with Lincolnshire Police to implement several tailer made programmes for Lincolnshire Schools, which will include Self Awareness, Self Defence, Anti-Bullying, and systems especially designed for children with learning difficulties.  For more information, email info @ kendojo . co . uk (You will need to remove spaces which have been added to stop spam mail)

Darren Kendall 2nd Dan - Programme Director

Darren began training in N.A.K. kickboxing in 1997, and between 1998 and 2002 competed at a National level.  He is an experienced fighter with many ring fights under his belt.  After winning regional fight tournaments he gained a Silver Medal in the National Association of Kickboxing Championships in 2001.  He is currently working towards his 3rd Dan in Kickboxing.

Bringing over a decade of business management experience to Kendojo, Darren works closely with other martial arts professionals to ensure that Kendojo customers recieve the best possible service, and are trained to the highest standard.

Lottie Smith 1st Dan - Instructor

Lottie began her martial arts training over a decade ago.  She is a skilled martial artist, and instructor of Kickboxing, Taekwondo, Tai Chi and weapons.  She is also a former National Kickboxing Champion.

Lottie is currently working towards her 2nd Dan in Kickboxing and her 1st Dan in Taekwondo.

Jason Smith 1st Dan - Assistant Instructor

Jason began his training in 2003.  He has been a rising star ever since, known for his dedication to training, which compliments his natural ability in the martial arts.

Jason excels in the more acrobatic side of martial arts, and is always trying to perfect his latest jump kick or back flip!

Steve Jolly 1st Dan - Assistant Instructor

Steve is an essential member of the team, known for his patience and understanding when teaching students.

His determination to improve himself and others makes him a superb role model.  Currently working towards a second black belt - in Taekwondo.
